I am a freelance nature and wildlife photographer from Northeast Florida. Originally from Havana, Cuba, I immigrated to the U.S. at an early age. Having spent half my life in a handful of countries, I moved back to Florida after a successful career in the corporate world. I love exploring remote places and the challenge of creating a great picture when I can't control the subject or the weather. I hope that by sharing my photos I can be the eyes for those that can not travel but more importantly I want to share the beauty of our nature and wildlife so we can all do our best to preserve our earth for future generations to enjoy. 

While I shoot extensively throughout Florida, my photography trips have taken me across the U.S. including Alaska and countries such as: Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, Ecuador, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Japan, the Falkland Islands, the Galapagos Islands, Slovenia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

I have lived in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida since 2005 and I am married with three adult children. As an ex-triathlete, fitness is important to me and I enjoy all sports and practice yoga.
